Spring Run School Nominates School Social Worker

Raritan Twp: John Ritchie, Principal of Spring Run School (SRS) is pleased to announce that Courtney Spalter, School Social Worker, has been nominated for School Social Worker of the Year for this school year 2010-2011.

The awarding agency is the New Jersey Association of School Social Workers of Sicklerville, NJ. The winner of the award will be announced on Monday, 4/11/11 at the agency's annual Spring Institute.



Ms. Spalter was nominated as a result of her sincere devotion to the well-being of students with special needs served by Spring Run School, as well as her overall professionalism. Spring Run School is a NJ-accredited private secondary special education school serving students age 13-21 with special needs.

Spring Run School just celebrated 25 years of service to students with varying disabilities. The Center for Educational Advancement (CEA) operates SRS, which truly allows for a unique school setting. Students are provided transition services each day helping them adjust from school life to adulthood.
