A letter of thanks from the President and CEO, Michael Skoczek, of the Center for Educational Advancement in regards to this year's Annual Friendship Recognition Dinner Dance:

On behalf of The Center for Educational Advancement (CEA) I wish to thank our sponsors, advertisers, donors, attendees and especially our awardees for helping make our 16th Annual Friendship Recognition Dinner Dance, held at the Grand Colonial on March 12, 2011 a resounding success.

The Grand Colonial provided great food and excellent service, while the incredible entertainment and the extraordinary silent auction were enjoyed by all 159 attendees.

The Friendship Recognition Dinner Dance recognizes some of the people and organizations that have helped us at CEA and Spring Run School honor our commitment to Educate, Empower and Employ individuals with special needs. This year we recognized the Friendship of: First Lady of NJ, Mary Pat Christie, Albea, Lindsay Margossian, Gary Malgieri, James H. Robinson, Randy Block, and The Bunbury Company.
In particular I congratulate and thank the Dinner Dance committee, particularly Karen Palotas, Chairperson of this event, for all of their tireless efforts in the weeks leading up to the event.

Thanks also to Diane Love for her hard work and commitment to CEA. She worked tirelessly to help make our silent auction a memorable one. Another special thank you goes out to Chris Halligan from Associated Mailing & Printing for kindly donating the printing of our program books.

On behalf of the event steering committee I recognize and thank all of our supporting sponsors: Ardito & Co., LLP, Associated Mailing & Printing, LLC, Bihler of America, CenturyLink, Investors Saving Bank, Johanna Foods, Inc., RAAB Coin, Inc. Hunterdon Healthcare, and BCG Advisors. With their sponsorship and the enthusiastic support of everyone who attended, donated, or advertised, we raised $23,000, which helps fund our employment training programs, benefiting individuals with physical, emotional and or developmental disabilities.
In the coming months CEA will stay focused on its mission of educating, empowering, and employing people with special needs. CEA continues to provide a paycheck for every person attending our Employment Service Programs.
I encourage all readers to consider participating in CEA's upcoming events which include the 20th Annual Golf Classic, scheduled for September 12th at the Cooper Hills C.C., and the 19th Annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day 2011.
